Dr Aziz Elgindi

Dr. Aziz Elgindi (GMC No: 7450896) is one of our highly experienced hair transplant surgeons at the Manchester Hair Transplant Clinic part of Harley Street Hair Transplant Clinics.

He is an associate member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) — the global gold standard in hair restoration. UK-trained and deeply experienced, Dr. Elgindi has performed over 1,500 hair transplant procedures, making him one of the few surgeons in the UK proficient in both FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) techniques.

A graduate of the prestigious St. George’s University of London (2014), Dr. Elgindi brings a strong medical foundation with extensive experience across multiple medical and surgical disciplines. He also undertook further training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Queen Mary University of London, broadening his surgical expertise.

Throughout his medical career, Dr. Elgindi has received multiple awards and distinctions, including:

• Distinction in Clinical Sciences – Awarded to the top 7.5% of students in 5th year MBBS examinations.
• Doctor as Professional Award of Excellence – For achieving an ‘Excellent’ grade in the Doctors as a Professional domain.
• AC Dornhorst Annual Prize – Recognising the cumulatively best-performing student in clinical and communication skills (OSCE) during years 3, 4, and 5.

Dr. Elgindi is an expert in a wide range of hair restoration techniques, including scalp, shaven, unshaven, male, and female hair transplants. He also specialises in corrective procedures for previously unsuccessful (“botched” or “failed”) transplants, as well as scar revision hair transplantation.
